If you're not familiar with him, Julian Randall is an Associate Professor of Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He is refered as the leader of the PVT (PhotoVoltaic/Thermal) research group and the Chair of IEA PVPS Task 20 (PV Thermal). His research interests include thermal systems, solar energy, integration of PSII and electrolysis into water oxidation and desalination cells, solar plants, technical evaluation of renewable energy resources, all applied at low cost. He has published over one hundred papers, proposal for panelized bottom of engine mount PHV production, digest and assessment of research results of the World Bank on energy and transport in rural areas in developing countries, and many others.
