This book provides an extensive overview of Printed Electronics. Printed Electronics is a highly interdisciplinary and fast-developing field involving both organic and inorganic print material, which can be used to create transistors and other semiconductor components capable of being printed directly onto various supporting substrates, such as paper. Attention is also paid to printing equipment, instead of using tools, which typically involve photolithography. Reactive ink is not suitable and might result in short circuits which always increase in power exports. Different methods of encapsulation process are discussed, which might be used in order to planarise electric, electromagnetic and thermal properties, making the process versatile. The popular encapsulation techniques, injection moulding, compression bonding and plasma polymerisation, are arranged by attributes. Despite all the factors that come along with this novel concept, there are still many challenges and difficulties to be met.
