This book reviews and reinforces typical concepts and techniques from a first statistics class while adding techniques specific to industrial hygiene and environmental health professionals. Parametric and nonparametric statistical methods are explained and demonstrated using working environmental and health issues. To facilitate understanding, the book uses statistical analysis tools supplied with Excel ® as much as possible. The emphasis is on using statistical tools with industrial hygiene/environmental health (IH/EHS) data to address IH/ EHS issues. The book also comes with an instructor's manual with PowerPoint slides to aid in lecturing and exam question solving.
