This four-volume set of Proceedings gives the results of presentations made at the 4th International Conference on Coatings and Adhesive Technology, held at Edinburgh, UK, from August 2nd to 5th, 1980, under the patronage of James Cronin, Lord Provost and Heriot-Watt University. The seats were occupied by scientists and Industry representatives responsible for coatings and adhesive technology emanating predominantly from Europe who proposed their technical solutions to long standing problems of this branch of technology and prospective research and development areas.
