Creamy vanilla porridge with apples
Ingredients:
2 cups (180 g) oatmeal or other oatmeal
3 cups (750 ml) milk
300 ml cream
1 vanilla bean, peel, scrape off the seeds.
For candied apples:
2 red apples, core, cut into 1 cm thick wedges
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons of honey
Cooking:
Place oatmeal, milk, cream and vanilla seeds with seeds in a saucepan over medium heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring often until the oats are soft and the mixture is thick and creamy (you can add a little milk if it gets too thick )
To make apples in sugar, place apples, sugar and honey in a saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring, for 10 minutes or until the apples are golden and sticky.
Divide the porridge among four deep serving plates, lay an apple on top, pour with honey syrup and can be served.
If your baby has to sit at the children's desk all day, then this kind of porridge is just perfect for breakfast, because the aroma of vanilla will not only increase appetite, so that all the porridge will be eaten, but also relieve nervous tension.
