Hollyhock - A Spirit of Мischief is the third book by New Zealand Masterstoryteller Meade Lewis Tapsell as a companion text for the first book about Holkham sisters, Holly and Louise. It is a funny and engrossing reunion of the gifted Watson sisters after a peaceful 1948 decade in which they both had to dissimilar careers and made sombre journeys as victims of war. Although the year 2032 seems to be full of jollity and hope, the tensions of that chapter's political climax are rippling across all Holkham family members' narratives - except those of Holly Watson and her daughters Sam and Clara, who have resolutely migrated into the oblivion. The text is divided into twelve chapters, each with autobiographical accounts of the Watson family from multiple points of view, occurred in sequence before 2026 and divided by small time-jump eras, peculiar memories being fragmented separately, but woven into the tapestry of Holkham story as it goes.
