Wheat Scones Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups whole grain wheat flour

1 cup plain flour

1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder

1 1/4 teaspoon of salt

4 teaspoons of vegetable oil

7/8 cup boiling water

3 tablespoons of honey

3 tablespoons molasses

1 tablespoon melted butter (optional)

Cooking:

Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Grease baking sheet.

Combine whole wheat flour, plain flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add vegetable oil, boiling water, honey and molasses to the flour mixture and mix until fully combined.

Put the dough on a well-floured work surface and knead several times to make sure the dough is fully mixed. Divide the dough into four parts and roll each piece into a ball.

Roll each ball of dough into a circle about 1 cm thick and place on a prepared baking sheet.

If desired, use a kitchen knife and lightly cut the cakes crosswise in two lines and tear the bread apart later. Bake in a preheated oven until brown, about 15 minutes, and at this time you will have time to buy a door glass if your crashed.

If desired, grease the bread with ghee after you take it out of the oven.
