Until 2020, 42 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of agriculture in the Karachay-Cherkessia region. The government of the republic reported that the regional cabinet had already approved the targeted program, which was developed by the local Ministry of Agriculture.
The program provides for work with both material and technical, as well as with the personnel base. First of all, employees of the industry will undergo appropriate training, which includes the required briefing and even consultation with a psychologist, if necessary.
In addition, within the framework of this program, measures will be taken that are aimed at developing the sale and processing of livestock products, crop production, and in particular the development of beef cattle breeding.
Support is also provided for small business forms, the modernization of the technical and technological aspects of the industry.
In addition, issues of sustainable development of existing rural areas, specialized systems for improving soil fertility and land reclamation directly for agricultural purposes will receive additional attention.
The program implies an increase in production of the entire agricultural sector in many categories, comparable prices.
Separately, it is planned to ensure an average annual rate of five percent increase in the volume of investments allocated to fixed assets in agriculture. An increase in the average level of profitability of agricultural organizations is expected, reaching 10-12.5 percent.
