Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 cloves of garlic, chop
1 large red onion, chopped, ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon red pepper
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 leeks, chopped
1 small carrot, chopped
450 g thin strips of beef
Cooking:
In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic and red onion.
Add black pepper, red pepper, sesame seeds, leeks and carrots. Mix with meat by hand to make sure everything is completely covered.
Cover and let the vegetables marinate for at least 2 hours or leave overnight. Grease the bottom of a large frying pan or wok with vegetable oil, and heat over medium heat.
Remove the meat from the marinade and fry immediately, stirring constantly.
The meat will be cooked in a few minutes.
Remove from heat and serve with boiled rice or noodles. To serve Korean-style hot meat, wrap the meat in a mixture of red lettuce leaves.
