There could be a number of reasons why Dameware is unable to connect to a Windows 10 machine. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check that the Dameware client software is up-to-date and compatible with your version of Windows 10.
- Make sure that the Dameware service is running on the Windows 10 machine you're trying to connect to. You can do this by opening the Services app (services.msc) on the Windows 10 machine and verifying that the Dameware service is listed and running.
- Check that the Windows Firewall is not blocking the connection. You can do this by temporarily disabling the Windows Firewall and seeing if you're able to connect to the Windows 10 machine with Dameware. If this works, you may need to adjust your firewall settings to allow Dameware connections.
- Verify that the Windows 10 machine is configured to allow remote connections. You can check this by going to the System settings in the Control Panel and making sure that the "Allow remote connections to this computer" option is enabled.
- If you're still having trouble, you may need to check the Dameware documentation or contact their technical support for further assistance.
