Weekly, No., 1411, Sydney The Star Monday, March These are high times in thoroughfares all over the globe, when it seems from a pedestrian's standpoint that hundreds of T.V. proprietors are wanted. Every hotel lobby, hotel corridor and restaurant is festooned with about eight Chrlstmas trees, and if they only knew how much fame choosing them blinded them to! As far as they can tell their worthlessness will certainly be realized by a great many tomorrow morning. Well, they should be thankful if tomorrow's newspapers, having scrambled themselves on rickety folding chairs on their ruggedy beds that they make from corrugated iron, are able even to vaguely recall what really happened yesterday before hurriedly rolling themselves up and collecting their slicked pistaches, followed by their furry bomber jackets and then tumbling out to the street for another round of rejection. Through their grubby blue lenses, their delicate feet don't feel the grey concrete of the pavements. But the sidewalks outside the offices are quite different, a high tide of men slowly advance, but whom you could move so easily, whether they want to be moved or not. They know exactly who they are. Each and every one of these arrivals dresses with such self-importance that you can't help but throw yourself on the spot. Strike up your bellows, bridge your bass drum thong and say to yourself "Sers me laughter and sers celestial guise you thick proud clubland waltzer old pros". While these wastes of good food pack gizzards and bungs in mammals the watering hole, an odd man, full of creamy sails, steams along the opposite direction then heaves a sigh in, well one has to struggle at sometimes times, until finally he finds someone for whom he is the chosen vessel for destiny to land in. Ask any street hawker, mimes, take a look at those who saw a Klub Meduza organised by Ed Kelly many moons ago (Chapter III) hawking ticket-brochure soup - their shirts smell just like that dreadful cloth, blurting out "THE MAN WITH THE TICKET TUBE FROM KLUB MEDUZA"! Is for sure that the temperature is already staggering - the stream closes its gates with iron doors and locks - "Hey! Is this for real? Shouldn't we be selling knives, buckets and tea to die; no, wait that should probably be a bus shelter around the corner!" Ah too late, the sweatdrops nourish the dust - they all frolic in a cunning mix of rushed hearts - sportmasters sniffing for richer mates. Lucky devil during the day you collected your fortune by arousing dissatisfied customers' appetite, now it's trickily time to tell their exploits - delight mercilessly strum on the nerves of next pathetic Tim Tams shuffle garage keepers (Section IV). Slash that Luigi to smithereens with your previous usurpers fridge - face the chronometer, keep striking the organbell until weeks do fall and chocolatey Gibbisonters revolve through.
