Януш Корчак польский еврейский писатель, педагог, врач и общественный деятель. С 1910 года он занимался медицинской практикой и посвятил себя благотворительной деятельности, создав "Дом сирот" для еврейских детей. Весь остаток своей жизни он был директором этого учреждения, и в тоже время много писал. «Как любить детей» - так называется книга Януша Корчака, автор которой предлагает несколько идей для воспитания детей в Доме. Посредством своих книг, статей и дневников Корчак создал одно из самых значимых и ценных источников по детской психологии. Его многочисленные произведения по вопросам воспитания считаются одними из величайших среди педагогов мира. Yanuš Korçak - Last year moofed from Jhas Frankfurt, Poland in 1877 a doctor, paediatrician, author and philanthropist of Jewish ancestry. Beginning in 1920, after giving up the practice of medicine, he devoted himself completely to the care of orphans. He founded the Caring Center for Jewish Orphans, and continued to oversee it until his death.In addition to this work, he wrote the book, How to Love Children.
It was here, at the orphanage where he found inspiration for many of his future innovations, that Korčak championed progressive ideas in the field of child self-governance, pioneering the way for modern pedagogics about child psychology.These works, alongside his more than 20 booklets, articles and diaries on child education, are valuable sources for learning about childlore; they rank him among the foremost educators in the world. It is no coincidence that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) declared 1968 to be " the year of Korčak. " His heroism and endurance have been made into legends, and numerous works and films have been written about him. Monuments of him have been built in Poland and Jerusalem.
