The Testament of Don Juan is a novel by Raúl Rhea Vera, a priest from Naples. It tells the story of Paola Di Verona and her curiosity leads her to join the world of the night society called Casanovas led by Don Juan, a mysterious elderly man who lives near Vesuvius.
The novel plunges the protagonist into images, smells and sensations that make them question their own identity. From the outskirts of Naples, through unwelcoming surroundings in Italy, Paola travels an uncertain path where religion, heresy and eroticism intermingle. The book's influences are from works such as Franz Kafka.
