Saving Grace (Pamela Fagan Hutchins).

This book is about a lawyer named Katie Connell who finds herself in an unexpected situation at the Caribbean Island, after losing her career, her relationship and getting addicted to alcohol. However, she finds a new and unexpected possibility and becomes obsessive with it. Despite it, however, Katie meets several local attractions and a beautiful chef whom she interacts with quite intensely. Later on, she gets involved in a murder case and one mysterious spirit named Annalise aides her in learning more truth. Fans of Stephanie Plum fall in love with Katie right away because Katie is the first main character fans have fallen in love of the past. As she continues her investigations, Katie realizes that the accident of her parents was carefully planned and executed. The author Pamela Hughtchins created a twist plot with several hidden signs placed throughout the whole book and interspersed with intriguing occurrences that occur to Katie while she investigates the death of her mother and father. A 10-year-old Hutchins spent half of her life on the Virgin Islands, but she still refuses to admit using them as inspiration for her work.

For those who like the likes of Sandra Brown or Janet Evanovich (author of series by The Bodily Harm Principle) will definitely like Pamela Hutchens's work also when they read Saving Grace.
