The focus of this book is memory and emotion. It is a collection, and all the articles are from leading in their field. The book was produced with the help of the cognitive neurosciences whereby the concept of emotion and the relationship between memory, emotion and health is explored, both theoretically and experimentally. Previous research has shown that such exploration has facilitated my understanding of recent development in relevant literature, thus providing a potential tool for studying human memory processes like autobiographic memory recall. Memory is defined as the ability to test experience and it can be seen as either emotional or neutral in nature. Autobiographical memory is one form of memory storage, that benefits greatly from emotion quality events within the life history. In this book the authors discuss many influential aspects of human memory including flashbulb memory recall after significant events, the discovery of recovered memories after the trauma, psychological briefcases and others that demonstrate that emotion plays a key role. This multifaceted area of research is extremely useful to incorporate into a clinical setting, such as memory recall in Retrospective Hypnotherapy.
