Marie is the second book by a writer Diana Wolfbach. The story starts in a traditional family of a grandmother (Diana), who works with the children he had raised and then passed over to her own daughters. But when on Valentine's Day, Diana meets 12 ½-year-old Maier, he falls in love with her and begins to invest everything in her, his dream love brings to life. But the orphan child is still a child and it's not for him to accept where he comes from or from the violence suffered by her 50 year old uncle. From childhood, the youth lives in his uncle's house, where she is beaten up and humiliated. Her foster parents did what they could, but the girl's little brother never forgave them, because they did not know how to be parents. By accident, Diana finds out about the suffering of this child. After a lot of trouble for the little girl, they manage to give her a new home. Still being abused and abused but now with new people trying to help. The same group of men, unforgivable, destroyed the happiness of Marie again and again. In the final stages of the book, things escalate dramatically.

The book has strong autobiographical elements, but like so many children, it's fictional and meant as poetry.
