If this is new to you, then here's a plot summary: Enlisted by The Japan Buddhist Federation, to catalogue a number of historic shrines which dot Nepal, Annja wishes to assist. Violence in politics has made it a requirement for the Federation to keep them safe from destruction and razzmatazz. And, the raid shelters Annja as their last chance to do this properly. Where there has been a grotesque offence against those in power, sometimes riots break out and local security soon form suspicions about Annja having joined in their ranks. But, she takes notice about where the smugglings of various curiosities and left leaning militia groups are in a crossfire of wants to kill her and being madly attracted. And it hits her as she scrambles up the Himalaya Mountains to protect a golden statue of Buddhas before they can fall into the clutches of her intruders, that they have forbidden her to walk into an area cursed — and reserved for demons. Therefore, the only option Annja faces is facing all her demons....
