Potato pie stuffed with meat and vegetables
To prepare a potato pie stuffed with meat and vegetables, you will need the following products:
- ground paprika (one teaspoon);
- potato tubers (160 g);
- minced meat (52 g);
- wheat flour (160 g);
- olive oil (four tablespoons);
- onions (two pieces);
- sweet pepper (three pods);
- ground pepper;
- chicken eggs (three pieces);
- thick tomato paste (two tablespoons);
- whole milk (156 ml);
- sweet canned corn (four tablespoons);
- Cow fat cream (102 ml).
Peel, rinse and boil potato tubers in slightly salted water.
Drain all the water and mash the boiled potatoes.
In the puree, add salt to taste, ground black pepper and unsalted butter.
Sift wheat flour into mashed potatoes, knead thick dough.
Put this dough in a detachable form, the walls of which are coated with plenty of butter.
In olive oil, fry chopped onions and sweet peppers.
Put the fried vegetables on a plate.
Sauté the meat in the remaining oil.
Season the meat with paprika, salt and pepper.
Add canned sweet corn and sauteed vegetables.
Beat chicken eggs with a fork in steep foam, mix milk with cream, add thick tomato paste.
To this mixture, mix the egg whipped mass, pepper and pour a little salt.
Put the filling in the mold and fill with milk-egg mixture on top.
Bake the cake in the oven until fully cooked at 180 degrees.
Before serving to the table, cool the potato pie and decorate with chopped herbs if desired.
