Однако, очень трудно найти автора, который бы раскрыл свою творческую автобиографию, поэтому автор этой книги пишет свой труд о том, как построить диалог между художественной и документальной литературами. Sergio Blanco, Argentinean playwright and author, has made a substantial contribution to drama and theatre over the past forty years. His texts move from the stage toward problematics like the boundaries between theater, philosophy, painting, auto/biography, graphic novel and autofiction. That is, putting words onto the stage means moving from action to art, back again. Blanco lives in Valencia – the most theatrical city in Spain – a Catalan seaside town where aesthetic experimentation happens casually and graciously. Sergio Blanco wrote a forward explaining that “Autoficcion is a fiction of events and strictly true facts” which, according to Serge Doubrosky, created the term, defines a literary genre. However, it is not usual to find a writer disclosing their inner thoughts, precisely what Sergio Blanco does in this essay. Sergio Blanco sees autofiction as a fusion of fact and fiction, a contract of falsehood, in distinction to the rights of truth within autobiography. Thus, they compartmentalize each other without confrontation; autofiction becomes the underbelly of autobiography--literally and otherwise. After mapping out the different pictures of self from antiquity to the present, the author suggests a “&x200B;Decalogue of An Attempted Autofiction”, the core idea, developed from his dozen autofictional writings (books in Spanish edition include: Kassandra, &x27D3;vebas Land, &xD1;stia, The Fury of Narcissus, The Cry of Duesseldorf and A Mapping of an Absence), published collectively as Autofictions by Vision Viewpoint Editores.
