Введение - Рассказ о святом Михаиле, первом покровителе Припортовых виноградников.
История создания - В 18 веке и строительство церкви, и переезд в новый дом происходили в Приортаун-Пиксерт. При появлении сложностей с подъемом к церкви все мероприятия, в том числе и богослужения с Мессией, проходили теперь внизу. Даже кладбище становилось дороже для похорон. В свою очередь церковь пребывала все больше в упадке.
В 1747 году приход посетил Святой Михаил, совершивший дикари и запрет для своей церкви. Пришлось принять решение о строительстве новой церкви в центре прихода.
`Sankt Michael. Ein Kirchenkunstwerk an der Moselle` tells the story of the church of Saint Michael at Piesport - a popular rural spot in southwestern Germany, sitting atop one of the great hills on which the River Moselle flows.
In the years 1774-8 the tales recounted were unhappy: first it was two accidents - first, the arcane ceremony in which a churchyard wall collapsed; after that, the sudden sickness and near-death of Father Christen Kaden, the current parish priest, who went to bed easily and rose again in a state of transient health.
