Preliminary, there is a critical examination of the doctrine and the question of whether these concerns stand in the way of the applicability of the doctrine to taxevasion. One crucial finding of this study is that the doctrine of aquittal must open up within tax evasion for a normative assessment and classification of events, in order to determine the perpetrator of tax evasion, distinguishing him from a participant.The basis for this normative consideration must always be the question as to whose tax declaration - presented outwardly - is intended to be interpreted.
