Jose Antonio Garrigo Vella (Antonio Vella), perhaps paraphrasing Walt Whitman, might warn of "The Anorak of Picasso" that whoever opens this book does not open a book but opens a house. And indeed, it is an enchanting house that Garrigo has apparently never left despite having traveled the world numerous times. Fifteen years ago, Garrigo published Muntaner, which recovered the direction of his childhood home and weaved reality and fiction with such courage that even now he himself can not seem to know what is real and what is fiction, as his novels are made up, like all great novels, of imagined reality and lived fiction.
