The book is about the European Union going through a crisis. It is torn by several problems including economic slump, politicking and the rigged system. Though there might be a very slim possibility for the EU to continue its existence, Zielonga, the author, believes that however small they are, some powers will survive. This only increases due to the interconnectedness of economies across the globe. The events of the future might take a more pragmatic route which will lead to things going stronger for Europe. The revival of the continent can be observed through the growth of cities, regions or powerful non-governmental organizations with new forms of solidarity thriving and shining among them. The book declares the possibility of the EU being doomed but it certainly makes sure that the continent, Europe is alive and might still follow a more prosperous outcome.
