"Otesanek and Lidushka" is a collection of stories from various authors, set in an alternate reality where the Russians launched an all-out invasion of Germany in 1947. The invasion fails as Russia is outnumbered by German tactical nuclear weapons, but it changes the nature of the Second World War in ways that humanity has not seen before. It is now up to the future generation of Russian and Jewish immigrants in the United States to confront the old rivalries, explore new technologies like teleportation, and find a solution to prevent another vicious war. For this task, a special group of young people called "otesanek" are assembled, led by the eager and powerful Lidushka. These novellas are just a taste of what the book has to offer, with varying degrees of intensity, drama, sex, and humor.
The world post-invasion has shaped all of us, some have grown accustomed to the new order, while others struggle for their survival as they caught between all sides. Otesaneks' job is to encourage repentance in an unforgiving and unpredictable world. Where everyone is different, including Lidushka who perhaps carries the scars of her father's dark past. Его вторая работа, «Лidushka», сочетает в себе жанры повести, хроники жизни и исследования поэзии и прозы.
