The story entails a spiritually aspiring man's oneiric conversation with a casual tree regarding its recent life experiences as well as existential thought and self-understanding. The backdrop contemplates two other substance systems: the bird and insect life forms in contrast to the chronic exhaustion of nearby factories. This intellectual and poetically cozy encounter between the old replica and the man is taking place in his intricate state of mind. To pretend this is anything other than an internal dialogue itself becomes futile. The crux of the discussion, however, is to discern the answer to "how to live," but know that no single stimulated response will suffice. Eliza Orzeszowa is a pre-eminent Polish author whose touchstone works are marked by outstanding social awareness - Joseph Kowalski once remarked she holds the rights to be called the "outhearted heart of an age."
