The book "Resurgence" by author Don Pendleton tells the story of Mack Bolan, a former member of the US Special Forces, who is recruited as an advisor for the United States government in fighting against the Albanian Mafia.

Bolan's next mission leads him to Marseille, where he takes down one of the biggest supply chains for illicit drugs in Europe. His run ends where it began, with the vicious injustice and unlawful trade in human trafficking running to the top level, rooted behind
