This being Carolyne, the story gets upped a cheery notch with hidden clues referencing childhood circumstances, plus these two charismatic cowarts' sibling relationships (and obstacles) help the steamy swoon along at a high caliber. Juggling provocative talk and playing, these two love interests grow closer on both a personal and an emotional level.
However, privacy problems (set in motion by Jodie's meddlesome brother) complicate relationships – and then some. Key plot twists add tremendous suspense – especially when a new development threatens Jodie with her heart's desire because she might lose another cherished Horse to make way for cold cash.
