Three little boys are transported back in time, into an African desert in the year 30 AD, where they become dependent on an Irish monks' care and guidance. This soon-to-be action packed adventure takes place in the legendary Time Steed machine created by irrepressible garbed scientists, who try their hardest to whisk the boys back home. However one of them betrays them; Thus begins an epic journey of freedom revealed before the children must figure out not just how to set things right, but how it all ties directly back to a dark secret of nearly forgotten times, when the Wizards had been converting the Bodysnatchers into their retrievers and onto this very Missive continent.
