When he knocked, not only did he hear sudden movement, but bypassed the bone dry door, turning the knob, felt the flimsy lock click behind him. Before exiting the small foyer, he glanced into the dimly lit living room and saw a man giving Jeannie another shove, spun the other way...in answer to Sam's knock.
