This manual provides the solutions to the exercises in Book 1 entitled "Classical Geometry. Euclidean, transformational, inversive and projective." It was written by Lewis and makes use of Lewiscritical edition of Euclid translated by Watson, with annotations by Jean E. Edwards. Written in textbook style, it presupposes some prior knowledge of elementary geometry. However, there are plenty of algebraically simple examples and graphing materials ensuring that the book is useful to many people, including those who have no background at all in geometry. An appendix gives account of an adaptation of Cartesian referencing methods for use with this type of teaching material. The book is intended for elementary teaching as well as problem solving. It has the advantage of being circulatable.
