So this is a book that you might be familiar with because it sort of sounds like a popular romantic comedy. But believe me when I say that this time the actors are not acting - no one is actually laughing at the drama being played out as Ciara runs away to her glamorous city wedding on the eve. She has fled the scene with the keys of her wealthy relatives ski house and maybe a glimmer of hope for a way back to sanity.
Unfortunately the night coincides with a stranger entering the house, and as it turns out, it's the last place anyone expected him to turn up. Jace Lockheart, no scoundrel here, was just taking refuge in his old man's place after an exhausting writing assignment gone wrong. When he hears the caravan scraping across the gate, he doesn't know women will soon become his best friend and worst nightmare.
Ciara at first would have none of this stranger knowing more than she does about her current predicament, but it's not long before they find solace and solace in each-other's arms.
