The entire town is in awe of the new couple that moves right across the road to send chills down your spine. They are intimidated and love them at the same time, but they are afraid for their life. The story is brutal and exciting at the same.
It would be so easy for me to just look at the synopsis and start turning the pages to get into the crime. Most of all, the author will appeal to women because she totally gets the struggles of hopeless love and amazing loyalty when her characters learn there may not be a "good guy" in their lives. What you cannot do is understate the suspense building within the first 10 chapters, perfect ending to this what I expect to be an addictive read.
One point that is clear to see is the connections between love, losing hope, and deranged obsession.
