This book is a comprehensive but easy-to-understand introductory textbook for one semester courses in biomedical engineering. Biomaterials, which appear in many biomedical industries, include cardiovascular devices, medical and dental devices and many other areas such as regeneration medicine, tissue science, drug transport and systems to treat cancer.

This text book provides a contemporary overview of these materials, as well the interaction of various biomaterials with human cells and bodies.
