"Mondflug" (Flight in the Moon) is a story written by Birgit Schwanen. The novel is based on the real life of the French aviator Louis Blériot and his world-famous journey in 1889, when he flew around the Earth for sixty days over Europe without sleep or stopping.The book is called "Jackls Mondflüg", which translates into English as "Blériot's Cosmic Flight" or "L'espace cosmique de Jacklk".
The story follows three people, two of which are descended from the Blériot family: Janus, the protagonist and Sonia his sister. Janus is traveling with his sister and taking care of her business, and he, along with several other passengers, will participate in a harrowing, earth-defying flight designed to help those in need. Along the way, he learns that his flight dates may be changing and that things are about to get unpredictable.
