«Happy Ticket (Russian story)» tells a clear tale where one young student named Leon Malin happens upon a most unusual birthday gift, the "Birthday Ticket" which gives him the chance to win the life-changing sum of 30 million roubles. Leon is eager to claim his prize, but as luck would have it, the Birthday Ticket turns out to be nothing more than a well-intentioned prank.
Summoned by the friend who gifted the Birthday Ticket, he embarks on a journey of amazement and discovery as the simple act of wishing a happy birthday had a profound impact on his reality and well being.
The plot of the story is not that complicated. The protagonist's friend presented him with a birthday ticket asking him to attend an event. Immediately the hero realised that the entry would entitle him to Benjamins worth 30 million RUB. That's where things started to heat up. And as time went by, little did they know that it was not about the money so much as laughing at the latter. It turns out it's nothing more than a built-up hoax or joke. This is followed by the converse spiral, playing out in the opposite direction. And above all, a guest has something great meticulously hidden for the finale.
