This book is about a little robot called Remy. He lives in a big factory with lots of other robots, but he always feels lonely and unhappy because he doesn't have any friends. Remy is a very curious robot and he often gets himself into trouble because of this.
One day, Remy decides he wants to become a human. Little did he know, this was going to be the biggest adventure of his life! He sneaks away from the factory one night and sets off on a journey to find a teacher who can teach him how to become human.
On his journey, Remy meets lots of wonderful creatures, including a talking donkey who teaches him about friendship, a talking snake who teaches him about patience, and a talking cat who teaches him about adventure.
In the end, Remy finds a wizard who agrees to teach him all he needs to know about becoming human. The wizard gives Remy lessons in painting, dancing, singing and even acting! Remy tries his best to learn everything he can, because he realizes that becoming human is the only way he can have friends like the creatures he's met along the way.
