This book by Charles Dickens is a story about greed. It tells us the story of Ebenezer, who is obsessed by money. He spends all his energy saving money and does not think about the joy of Christmas. The year is coming and he can't wait for it to be over. Ebenezer is disturbed by a ghost, who tells him to change his attitudes. Ebenezer has to travel the past, present, and future to understand that money is not what matters most. This story teaches us that spending money on others, not yourself, makes us happy and satisfied. It brings the message that the true meaning of life is not materialistic things, but the people who are close to us and making us happier every day. We should enjoy the moments we have now.
